    As a production designer in the UK I have had the pleasure of working with Russell Richins on two American independent films made in Britain. His broad experience and friendly attitude made my job so much smoother, he understands not only the design department but the whole caboodle of lights, camera, schedule, etc. Acting as first assistant director he navigates the whole film unit from dawn til dusk, then works through the evening on the next days action so we can finish all that we set out to film with the best possible results.
